Delta Dental of Massachusetts Declares October is “Mission Month”

Delta Dental of Massachusetts employees will volunteer their time to service projects throughout October as part of the company’s “Mission Month.” With nearly 400 employees, Delta Dental of Massachusetts will donate hundreds of hours to projects with the Greater Boston Food Bank, Cradles to Crayons, Mason Pilot Elementary School, Bridge Over Troubled Waters, and Mount Ida College Dental Education Center and Community Dental Clinic’s “Give Kids a Smile” Event.

“This month we will underscore our commitment to good oral health and our desire to be good citizens in the communities in which we live and work,” said DentaQuest CEO, Fay Donohue. “Together we will support our local communities so more children have places to play and learn, more families have food to eat and a roof over their heads.”

Delta Dental of Massachusetts is the leader in dental benefits for Massachusetts businesses and residents. This October, employees will work with partners across Massachusetts to increase the number of hours devoted to service and help improve the oral health of residents by calling attention to dental disease– a serious, chronic, infectious illness which is preventable. Delta Dental of Massachusetts’ mission is to improve the oral health of all.
