Picking A Plan

Getting the right coverage for your business does not have to be hard. We offer a full range of plan and benefit levels, so we can match your needs every time.

When you are thinking about a plan there are several options that you can consider to make sure the plan is just right for you employees’ dental health and for your bottom line.
 

Contribution Level

There is no reason not to offer your employees Delta Dental coverage, even if you are on a tight budget.
Businesses of all sizes have flexibility in choosing what contribution level is right for them. If you don’t currently offer dental benefits, a great way to start is with a voluntary plan. That way you don’t need to miss out on the benefits.
 
  • Voluntary Plans – Where you offer your employees a dental plan but make limited or no contribution to the cost.
  • Contributory Plan – Where you pay 50% or more of the premium costs of dental coverage.
 

Benefit Level

Rollover Maximum

Network choice

The plan you choose will determine the size of the network your employees have access to and the cost they will pay. We offer a full range of plan options that include both national and local plans.

Remember that Delta Dental has the largest directly contracted network,. This means we don’t lease or rent networks just to increase the size of our network. So you don't have to worry that the network is stable and consistent.
 

National Plans

  • PPO Plus Premier – Our most popular plan, this combines two national networks and gives you employees the best possible choice with more than 140,000 dentists included. Your employees can also save money by choosing less expensive PPO providers.
  • DeltaCare® - This dental HMO includes a national network of more than 20,000 access points. Members pick a primary dentist who will manage their care. They enjoy savings of up to 45% over participating dentists’ usual and customary fees without deductibles or annual maximums. This includes traditional coverage, as well as orthodontics for members and their families, regardless of age.
 

Massachusetts-only Plans

  • Total Choice PPO – This local plan gives employees access to the state’s largest PPO network of more than 4,000 dentists. The plan includes comprehensive coverage, as well as upgrades such as coverage for white fillings and implants, but at a more affordable premium level for you.
  • EPO – This plan offers lower premiums and great coverage. Members must get their care within the Delta Dental EPO network of more than 2,000 dentists in Massachusetts.
