The doctor receives instant retrieval on the computer, allowing for a more accurate diagnosis, enhanced patient understanding of possible calculus buildup on his or her teeth, and improperly placed or deteriorating fillings due to the enlarged image on the monitor. Computer image processing can be enhanced, changed, or reversed for better diagnosis.
