JOB SUMMARY
As part of the Marketing team, the Marketing Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering strategic marketing communications to a variety of audiences across multiple channels including request for proposal (RFP) responses and digital and traditional marketing channels.
We are looking for a candidate with strong writing skills who has proven success in independently managing complex projects from inception to completion and who has strong, interpersonal skills that will allow for strong collaborative relationships with internal partners at all levels of the organization.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for leading the request for proposal (RFP) process through RFP release, requirement analysis, content development, submission and finalist presentations.
Analyze solicitations, identify proposal requirements and prepare customized, detailed responses and templates.
Identify and engage with internal subject matter experts and decisions makers, including senior management, to tailor responses to meet and exceed RFP requirements.
Contribute to the development of the company's value proposition and "win" themes.
Conduct ongoing market and competitive intelligence analysis to understand trends and demands; use learnings to develop responses that demonstrate company's competitive edge.
Write proposal narratives using a mix of existing, previous responses and developing new material; build and oversee internal content library for future responses.
Communicate proposal status with subject matter experts and remain current on all amendments and modifications to the solicitation.
Responsible for developing, editing and proofreading marketing assets for a wide range of deliverables including social posts, website copy, long- and short-form marketing. copy, email communication, and other traditional and non-traditional tactics.
Contribute to the distribution of internal and external communications through digital and traditional channels.
Oversee company's social media accounts.
Develop and deliver social campaigns that expand social audiences and increase engagement; draft and activate posts across social platforms.
Monitor social tracking, provide reporting and actionable insights to various teams; identify opportunities to optimize.
Track social commentary and respond to negative posts/comments; escalate as needed.
Help protect and ensure compliance of the business brand.
Ensure deadlines and budget parameters are met on all assigned projects and initiatives.
Other duties as needed or required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field
5+ years professional experience
Superior written and oral communication and presentation skills
Project management experience; ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Expertise in social media channels, tools and techniques
Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, prioritize and apply lessons learned to each project.
Ability to develop collaborative relationships across all departments and all levels of an organization
Skilled working with Microsoft Office, presentation software, project management platforms; early adopter of new technologies
PREFERRED:
Prior work experience in healthcare or insurance businesses
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to work in an active office or remote setting
Ability to respond to critical business issues/crises outside of regular business hours
Ability to efficiently operate all job-related office equipment
Ability to communicate via telephone and work in virtual teams
Ability to read and view computer screen
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
