We are currently seeking a Program and Planning Manager to assist with the day-to-day operations and strategic priorities of the Network Department. This individual will be outgoing and a multi-tasker with a “can-do” service-oriented attitude. This manager will closely collaborate with leaders both within and outside the department, demonstrating strong critical thinking skills, project management capabilities, and the ability to navigate the organization efficiently. They will support the execution of process, operations, and initiatives and keep the Vice President informed about risks, roadblocks, or opportunities that could advance our strategies. Additionally, they will promote collaboration and team building with use of tools and resources shared among network departmental leaders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages coordination, execution, and planning of network engagement activities to ensure alignment to goal and timeliness of implementation.
- Manages the execution and planning of provider forums and outreach strategies.
- Track, trend, and monitor network key performance indicators that drive provider experience and identify opportunities for improvement or emerging risk.
- Coordinate network engagement activities, plan, and manage provider forums and outreach strategies, and engage with strategic partners as needed.
- Support the Vice President in synchronizing activities among other departmental leaders, ensuring alignment and fluency in working toward our common goals.
- Drive change in policies, procedures, and operations that are out of alignment with provider experience objectives while continuing to meet corporate standards and goals.
- Demonstrate the ability manage and prioritize multiple tasks and execute projects efficiently.
- Provide comprehensive planning and management support to the Vice President by organizing and preparing for strategic meetings to ensure efficiency and the achievement of goals. This involves creating agendas, confirming attendance, defining the roles of key participants, developing content and presentation materials, and ensuring the execution of critical next step actions.
- Conduct research and compile data to assist with decision-making and strategic planning.
- Manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, always maintaining confidentiality.
- Coordinate data insights, metrics, key performance indicators required to monitor, trend, and manage network experience and performance.
- Develop workflow, process, resources, tools, in conjunction with network team, vendors, and departmental leaders to ensure administrative ease for internal employees and ensure positive provider experience.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
- Experience in managing change.
- Project Management certification or applicable experience.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, mitigate risk, and inform strategy as appropriate.
- Ability to make good judgment conclusions based on data available with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytic skills with a strong working knowledge of the business, to effectively translate business needs to process and system functionality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Show initiative to learn more and take on more challenges.
Physical Demands:
- Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively.
- Requires overall light physical effort (up to 25 lbs.)
- Ability to travel or move about within and outside serviced facilities required.
- Incumbent works primarily in either a private or shared office environment.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods.
- Ability to operate a personal desktop computer.
- Flexible schedule may require working overtime or on weekends to meet deadlines.
