Delta Dental's LaRoche Invited into Emerging Leaders Program
Delta Dental of Massachusetts today announced that Kristin E. LaRoche, the company’s Director of Policy and Federal Affairs, has been selected by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce to participate in its Boston’s Future Leaders program.
“Kristin has unparalleled leadership skills, and the Chamber’s decision to invite her into this program is welcomed news,” said Delta Dental President Dennis Leonard. “The healthcare industry is both complex and dynamic, and I have repeatedly been impressed by Kristin’s broad knowledge and outstanding command of the facts. She excels at every opportunity, and we are very fortunate to have her as part of the team here at Delta Dental.”
LaRoche has been with Delta Dental for the last three years and has steadily risen in the ranks of the company. She is presently a top government affairs liaison at Delta Dental, with a particular focus on federal affairs and how legislation like the Affordable Care Act can impact access to dental benefits. Prior to coming to Delta Dental, LaRoche worked for a national public hospital trade association in Washington, D.C.
“I’m excited to have this opportunity to work with the Boston Chamber of Commerce and the other young leaders who have been selected to participate in this program,” said LaRoche. “This is not only an interesting time to be in the health care field – it’s also an interesting time to be in the health care field in Boston, where innovation is in our DNA. I look forward to an active and thoughtful exchange of ideas with my peers in other industries as we work to ensure a vibrant future for the greater Boston area.”
The Boston Future Leaders program is open to a limited group of successful emerging leaders who have been identified by senior executives of Chamber member organizations. Participants in the 2015 program will attend leadership development programs at Harvard Business School and Suffolk University Business School, where they will hear from prominent business leaders and make important connections with their professional peers.
LaRoche, a resident of Boston, is a graduate of George Washington University.
