    Delta Dental of Massachusetts Named Presenting Sponsor of NESN Clubhouse

    New England Sports Network (NESN) Red Sox pre-game show will engage kids across Massachusetts on the importance of oral health 

    BOSTON – Delta Dental of Massachusetts and New England Sports Network (NESN), the official home of the Boston Red Sox, are proud to announce their partnership in support of NESN Clubhouse, NESN’s commercial-free Red Sox pre-game show for kids. NESN Clubhouse Presented by Delta Dental of Massachusetts airs live on Sunday 90-minutes before the network’s traditional Red Sox pre-game coverage and an encore airing of the show runs immediately following the post-game show each Sunday.

    The show includes a studio audience comprised of Little League baseball players and girls’ softball teams from throughout New England. For Red Sox home games, the show airs live on Yawkey Way. For Red Sox road games, the show originates live from NESN’s Watertown studios.

    As presenting sponsor of NESN Clubhouse and its website, Delta Dental of Massachusetts’ oral health experts will serve as contributors for the show’s educational segment, “Baseball Smart Mouth.” This collaboration is designed to raise oral health awareness among young people – on topics ranging from wearing a mouth guard while playing sports to the impact of chewing gum – in an entertaining way.

We are proud to partner with NESN Clubhouse and are excited about the opportunity this partnership presents to raise oral health awareness among young people.”

    This season debut of NESN Clubhouse Presented by Delta Dental of Massachusetts aired yesterday (Sunday, April 10) at 11:30 a.m. EST, before the Red Sox - Toronto game. Throughout the season, NESN Clubhouse on Instagram and @DeltaDentalofMA on Twitter will frequently post clips, updates and #SelfieSmile fan photos.

    “We look forward to reaching Red Sox fans throughout Massachusetts with this program and future collaborations,” Leonard said, adding, “Baseball now not only encourages hometown pride and healthy activity, but also bright, healthy smiles.”
    On Tuesday, July 5, Delta Dental of Massachusetts will again participate in Fenway Park’s annual Tooth Day, providing mouth guards to younger fans while Tooth Day co-host Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and other partners will provide informational brochures, onsite screenings and other oral health giveaways.
